This is a rewrite of A Chance To Trust, in progress. Little Danny Fenton got his powers at a remarkably young age at the cost of his family, the GIW get him soon after. A few years later Danny is 9 and still suffering at the hands of the Guys In White, until a certain Bat comes and rescues him. Now Bruce has to deal with a young terrified mislabeled metahuman who is a lot stronger than he looks and has an uncanny ability to know exactly what anyone is feeling. The GIW, on the other hand, can't let their lab rat heal and save the Ghost Zone they've been working so hard to take over. Things just got a little more spooky in Wayne Manor. Danny is held in a GIW facility for an entire year and manages to escape right before being found by the Young Justice team. Poor Danny has PTSD and doesn't trust anyone, he won't even let someone get close to him. Can the teens help Danny or will they just make things worse for the poor halfa?

Danny was exposed to ectoplasmic radiation when his mother was pregnant. This, of course, made him a half-ghost! When his family found out about his 'condition' when he was 3 they didn't hate or neglect him. They were still the happy Fenton Family! ... Until the GIW found out... They killed the Fentons and captured Danny to turn him into a weapon. For 2 years poor Danny has been abused, tortured, and starved for his powers. But one day, they move 'Weapon Phantom' to none other than Gotham City! When Batman finds out about the situation he takes Danny in. Can Batman and co. help heal old and new wounds?

AU, Orphaned from a lab accident, Danny Fenton was taken in by Vlad Masters. During an attack by Death Eaters, Danny miraculously survives, bringing his identity as a halfa to the attention of the Headmaster of Hogwarts and the Dark Lord. Professor Dumbledore sent for him to enroll at Hogwarts as a 2nd year for his safety, where Danny must learn to balance his half-life secret with his magical studies. Contains torture, violence, some language, mentions of suicidal thoughts, and all that fun jazz. Might have some slight OOCness and Dark themes. Scratch that, there will be lots of Dark themes.
