"Hi, Georgina." I could hear Max sobbing. He always said he was a 'grown man', but I always knew that deep down he was fragile. I couldn't show off how happy I was, but I was still glad he came to visit. "There has been may things going on, Gina. Brandy is getting married in an hour! She wants to show you her dress. I'm going to walk her down the aisle, a-and I want you...to be there..." his voice cracked in the end. If I could cry, I would've done so. Max continued crying, "I..I miss you so, so much, sis. It's been twelve years, and I still can't believe you aren't here. I've seen you in my dreams, and I hear your voice everywhere. Please come b-back. I should'v never pushed you. This is all my fucking fault. I'm such a horrible brother..." I couldn't stand to hear him crying. He sounded so helpless, and I wanted to tell him it was all going to be okay, but there was something stopping me. My eyes. I couldn't open my eyes, and the more I tried, the more it hurt. "I'm so, so sorry, Georgina." That did it. I couldn't bare this anymore. I forced myself to give in, to open my eyes, and when I did, I was never going to close them again.

"Stop being so innocent! It's boring." Harry mocked me. "And how am I supposed to do that?" All playfulness from his face has disappeared. "Let me teach you." At first, my thought was no. An immediate no. I've known Harry my whole life, this would be weird, but i'm tired of being mocked about my innocence. "Fine..." I whispered crossing my arms across my chest. My foot began tapping, a habit I picked up from my mother. "I'll do it, but you can't tell anyone." My finger pointing at him like a mother would do scolding a child. "No one has to know. Not a soul." He leaned further into me, forcefully gripping my hips pushing me against his bedroom wall.

It's pretty clear. Skylina Roberts and Jake Farrel hate each other due to a threat given to Jake from Alex, Skylina's boyfriend. Jake and Skylina were once good friends, but then they started to hate each other. Love became hate. They can barely stand being near eachother, much less being locked in the same place. When terrorists from the other half of the world come to New York, citizens have to escape. After Skylina's soccer game finishes with victory, she heads over to an after party. On the way, though, the terrorists attack. Skylina, Jake, and their friends escape, but have nowhere to go. They decide to go their high school, the safest place they could think of. All of them try to avoid the terrorists as much as possible, and defend themselves in any way possible. Will Skylina and Jake become friends? Will they survive? Will the truth be revealed?

Bronte Davis is Worthington High's sweetheart. With a charismatic and loveable personality and a drive to help anyone and everyone, it's easy to understand just why everyone loves her. That is, everyone except Blake Parker; the school's rude and arrogant bad boy. But even that's not hard to understand why. While Blake is mean, cruel and egotistical, Bronte is kind, helpful and humble. So what happens when Bronte is forced to stay at Blake's house since her parents are off on a work trip around Africa? Well, with Bronte's sudden determination to befriend the arrogant Bad Boy, you can only imagine all the different possibilities. Yes, all the possibilities that involve the two ripping each other's throats out, that is. With late night conversations, ruthless pranks, constant bickering and secrets that are yet to unfold, its a miracle the two haven't killed each other... yet.
