Deku is not the same happy cinnamonroll like before (he still has one for all but it wasn't given to him). Deku doesn't know anything about love. Guess this means when it comes to love, he's denser than dense. He keeps trying to fight his suicidal thoughts but fails miserably and goes through the same routine day by day thinking "it'd be better if I were dead...might as well die now". Until one.
