The story is Post-Marauders, but Pre-Harry. Remus Lupin is a tortured man. A lonely werewolf, he can't stay too long in one place or another. When word reaches him from Dumbledore that his old enemy, Severus Snape, has made a potion that could very well be his salvation, he has to go to Hogwarts. Ashlynn Corvin has had a troubled past. Orphaned when she was younger she attends Hogwarts, which has become her home. When Winter Break comes around and she is forced to remain at Hogwarts yet again, she runs into a man who looks even more broken than she is. What will come of this chance meeting?
