These are from a bad point in my life, though I have no residual feelings. These times are gone, but the words are still mine.

(Or: Dan is the weird kid that dresses in pastels and hands out flowers to people for no apparent reason and Phil is the leather jacket wearing art kid who pretends to be immortal through his drawings. Despite the odds, they're best friends, and nobody quite understands the limitations - or lack thereof - of their friendship.)
