BOOK ONE OF THE PROGRAM SERIES *** The Program has three rules. One: no Transfers. Once a soldier has been inducted into one of the Nine Units of the Program, he is bound to that Unit for the rest of his fifteen year service. Two: the Program is trusted to protect the final civilization of earth, the nation of Creatan, and all those within it, at all costs. Three: all those inducted into the Program must serve a sentence of fifteen years. Once he has completed the minimum service of fifteen years, a soldier of the Program may re-enter Creatan as an honored member of society. In a post-apocalyptic and ever-changing world, Aiden Lycroft has dedicated his whole life to the Program and the people of Creatan, of whom he is sworn to defend from any dangers that may threaten the very existence of mankind. Aiden has never questioned the military and government system he has served for virtually all his life, until the very first Transfer in the history of the Program appears in his Unit, shattering everything that Aiden has ever known about the Program he has served and respected for so long. In a series of horrifying revelations and unexpected twists, Aiden's life is turned upside down as he looks beyond the lies that have been fed to him since birth, and begins to learn the ugly truth behind the perfect Program he so strongly believed in. In a world forever torn by war and human affliction, Aiden realizes just how terrifying the world can be when the earth's only hope becomes its worst nightmare.

Liz Dolan has put her life on hold for many reasons. Good ones, too (or so she keeps telling herself). Steve Rogers is trying to stumble forward with his life in a world that seems almost alien. When Steve moves into the Washington, D.C. apartment building owned by the Dolan family, John "Pops" Dolan continues trying to jump-start his granddaughter Liz's case of arrested development while trying to help the incognito super soldier adjust to life in a new century. Steve Rogers / OFC. This story starts approximately one year after the events of "The Avengers" and about one year before the events of "Captain America: The Winter Soldier". *** Wattpad Featured Story: March 28, 2016 ***

One infection causes the society to crumble like a cookie. No military, no economy, no leaders, nothing. No one is coming to save you, no one is there to help. Everyday is a struggle for Mariah Beckon, her adopted brother and sister not making it any easier. When the trio cross paths with a group from Atlanta, she meets the people who she belongs with, her family. As the group of people fight to survive, Mariah falls head over heels for one man in particular. No matter how hard she tries she just can't seem to forget that redneck. This is a story of many things: love, betrayal, hatred, death, but the most important of all, surviving. "Why are you doing this?" I grab his arm before he storms out the house, but he just shakes me off and keeps walking. "Daryl!" I scream before he can step off the tiny porch. He turns abruptly and storms back over to me. "What?! What do ye want from me?!" He screams, the veins in his neck pop out as he breathes hard. "I know you don't like me, but you can't always run away!" I point a finger at his chest and jab him as I say every word. "Like ye? Ye just don't understand!" He turns to walk away again but stops himself and turns back with a pained expression. "Mel, I love ye!" he screams. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Melinda Greene is 32 with straight blonde hair and big blue eyes.
