|| Highest Rank - #1 in Teen Fiction and #5 in Romance || Melody Carson has been in the same class as Tyson McCannon since primary school. She's watched him play with girls, set the school on fire, skip classes, prank teachers, smoke behind the school, break the law, get into fights with other guys for fun and even watched him get suspended for three weeks. He always ruins everything and never does what he is told. Melody has hated him since the day he set foot in her school and luckily he has never noticed her. That is, until now. Tyson has set his eyes on Melody and won't stop until he gets what he wants. And he wants her. *-*-* Note: It is cliché at first but it gets better. [COMPLETED] Copyright © by Laylaa Khan

"This is my problem, not yours!" Gordon hissed at me. He kept his focus on the crooks in front of him, firing rapidly. "Your problems became my problems too when you adopted me!" I yelled back. I pulled out the gun from my pocket, quickly I dodged behind a crate, shooting at the crooks. "Just don't get killed alright!" "Can't promise..." I mumbled. The shooting of guns ringed inside my ears. Suddenly a strange feeling came from my left ribcage. I looked down and saw blood starting to spill out. 'Oh shit...' You watched the man that had the fate of your life in his hand. You were beyond scared. the man in front of you was handsome yet fatal. His face was something you've never seen before but the shiny contraption in his hand snapped you out of your thoughts. "I DONT LOVE YOU & I NEVER WILL!" You shouted at the top of your lungs, all of sudden becoming brave. Once you saw his face, you regretted your bravery. "Take it back." He whispered while holding the gun up to your head. → SEQUEL TO SHE'S MINE BOOK TWO → "Are you aware that you were kidnapped by Jason McCann?" The detective asks. What? Did he confess to everything? I sat their watching him closely. There's no way I'm going to say anything. I'm not giving in to anything this cop is trying to lower me in. I just sat there silently. I don't have to answer any of his questions right? I hope Jason isn't. "Because, Jason has confessed that he kidnapped you. He says you were his victim." He says. Why ask if you already know everything? Why would Jason even tell them that? "Can you tell me what you specifically remember?" His eyes are studying mine closely. The detective has an intimidating look as he watches me. His face softens as he eventually leans closer, placing his crossed hands on the rusted table. "I know you're scared but you don't have to be. He's gone. You're safe. He will never hurt you again. He's going to get what he deserves." He whispers soothingly. Is that supposed to make me feel better? What does he deserve? "The death penalty?" I ask emotionally. "Most likely." He says, confirming my deepest nightmare. This can't be happening. Copyright 2016. All rights reserved. This material may not be published, broadcast, rewritten or redistributed.
