A boy raised around religion and the discounts for sin, Phil Lester is definitely not one to go around looking for trouble. With his father being the vicar of their local church, Phil has a lot to live up to and has to keep his reputation high if he's to be accepted. He doesn't do parties or drinking; the thought of sex alone is enough to terrify him. So it's no wonder that when Dan Howell, a boy who embraces the life of parties and rebellious acts, shows up to join the church program, Phil starts having trouble keeping himself sane as he tries to teach Dan the path to God. 15 year old Dan Howell is new to Brookdale secondary school. He has no friends at this school... well at least in till he meets 16 year old Phil Lester, the school heartthrob. Dan is instantly attracted to this mysterious boy but is too shy to tell Phil how he feels. instead he creates a pen name and writes to Phil as a secret admirer. Will Phil find out about Dan being his secret lover? and if he does will there friendship turn into dust or will it blossom into a heartfelt romance?

There's a war going on, and the Unlisted aren't winning against The New Generation of super soldier. Dan already had no one, but losing Phil, his closest friend, hurt more and over a month later he is still mourning. Flashbacks of memories don't make the pain lessen either. But maybe being a little careless in battle may turn out to be in his favour when a guardian angel with a gun shows up to save him.
