Jack Abbot x OC S 1 - S 2. (S3 when out in Jan 😝). Sophie Robinavitch has spent most of her life being known as Robby's little sister. At twenty-three, she's determined to change that. Newly qualified and starting as a nurse at Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center, Sophie wants to prove she belongs in the ER on her own merit-not because her much older brother happens to be one of its most respected doctors. Bubbly, confident, stubborn and armed with a dangerously quick mouth, Sophie has never had much trouble getting exactly what she wants. Then, the night before everything begins, she meets Jack Abbot. Older. Infuriatingly confident. Completely capable of making Sophie forget every clever thing she was about to say. One drink turns into flirting. Flirting turns into one night. And one night shouldn't matter-until Sophie walks into the Pitt and discovers the stranger whose bed she left is not only a doctor there, but one of Robby's closest friends. They agree it can never happen again. It does. Again. And again. What begins as stolen moments and a secret neither can afford to let Robby discover quickly becomes something neither of them knows how to control. Jack insists they're casual-until another man looks at Sophie. Sophie insists she doesn't care-until Jack starts pulling away. And while half the ER seems to figure them out before Robby does, keeping their hands off each other might actually be easier than keeping their feelings out of it. But Pittsburgh Trauma doesn't stop for complicated relationships. And when a violent patient leaves Sophie badly injured, Jack is the one who tears him away from her-and Robby is forced to realise there might be someone else willing to protect his little sister just as fiercely as he always has. Because Sophie Robinavitch might be the worst decision Jack Abbot has ever made. She might also be the one he has no intention of regretting. After all, some things are worth doing against medical advice.

𝓣HE PITT ── FANFICTION ⋆˙⟡ ( jack abbot x fem!oc ) ( BATTLE-SCARS ℘ SCALPELS SERIES ) ━━ ZHALAI KHAN, a revered surgeon in her home country, moved to the U.S in 2021 to keep her brother safe. But, in this strange country that has eyes that linger on her too long with suspicion and hatred, her qualifications aren't recognised. Demoted to the role of an ED nurse during the height of the COVID pandemic, she works long, gruelling shifts that leave her exhausted and emotionally spent as she tries to care for Haroon-her teenage brother who understands far too much at his young age of sixteen. All the while, the man she spends more time avoiding than conversing with; the man she knows only by the shape of his eyes and the way they crinkle softly at the corners when he smiles beneath the masks they wear; the man that makes her hands shake more than they ever did in the O.R; gently (and sneakily) makes his heart her home. & ━━ JACK ABBOT, a U.S army veteran (now emergency physician attending at PTMC), goes through the motions. One day after the other. Dealing with the phantom pain of the leg he left behind in Afghanistan and the very real pain in the place of his heart where his deceased wife used to smile, when Zhalai Khan walks into his E.D he finds both aches begin to alleviate. Because what kind of E.R tech works a 24-hour shift, assists in trauma cases so efficiently it's like she knows what he needs before even he himself does, and carries grief on her shoulders like it's the only real thing she knows how to feel? ( What kind of E.R tech looks at him and makes him immediately believe he's suffering from heart palpitations as a result of a tachycardia episode? ) He doesn't know. ( But he finds out quickly that he'd very much like to. )

"Everywhere, everything, I wanna love you 'til we're food for the worms to eat, 'Til our fingers decompose, Keep my hand in yours." When Dr. Eleanor O'Reilly transfers to the Pitt, her first encounters with Dr. Michael Robinavich are anything but friendly. They clash immediately with glares, sharp words, and a one sided decision to keep each other at arm's length. But over time, irritation softens into something quieter, lingering looks, accidental touches, and a growing understanding between them. Somewhere along the way, the tension becomes something else entirely, a slow, steady love that feels like home. Dr. Robby x fem OC

It was Natalia's first day back at Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center after being away for five weeks. It was bittersweet. She loved this hospital. She loved her job and she loved the work she did and the differences she's made here, both personally and professionally. Natalia loved the person and surgeon she grew to become. Every mistake made and every accomplishment achieved in the past seven years here has shaped her into who she is now. But. . . Things had changed when Natalia met him on a random shift three years ago. And it took a turn for the worst on a random night nine weeks ago. 🚑 Saving strangers is their profession. Saving each other is the promise they made. 🌙❤️ Jack Abbot has always been the steady heartbeat of the emergency department, but when the chaos of daylight fades, another force quietly takes over. Meet Xanthe Amphitrite Yelena Nereia Ocean Regulus Anastasiya Dragović-Karagianni, a brilliant Greek-Romanian night shift registered nurse whose calm presence is legendary among the staff. With long, wavy dark cherry-red and blonde hair usually tied into two space buns, ocean-blue eyes, sun-kissed skin dusted with freckles, and a gentle voice that patients instantly trust, Xanthe rarely seeks the spotlight. She doesn't need to. Behind her quiet nature is an exceptionally skilled nurse with experience caring for survivors of sexual assault, children in paediatrics, and patients experiencing psychiatric crises. Living with autism and bipolar disorder has shaped how she understands the world, allowing her to connect with patients who often feel unseen, while also requiring her own routines, support, and balance. Off the clock, she's simply Jack's wife. While the emergency department knows them as respected colleagues working opposite shifts, only a handful of people understand the depth of their partnership. Their schedules rarely align, their work is emotionally exhausting, and every shift carries the possibility of tragedy. Yet somehow, between handwritten notes left on the kitchen counter, sleepy sunrise embraces, shared coffee before one heads to bed and the other to work, and unwavering trust, they've built a marriage as resilient as the hospital itself. When an unforgettable series of emergencies forces the day and night teams together, Jack and Xanthe find themselves balancing professional boundaries with personal devotion, proving that even in a place filled with heartbreak and impossible decisions, love can still become the strongest form of medicine.

The night shift at Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center never slows down. Gunshot wounds, cardiac arrests, impossible choices and impossible losses arrive through the emergency department doors hour after hour, demanding everything from the people who work there. Among them is twenty-five-year-old nurse practitioner Lilly Christian. Calm where others panic. Gentle where others grow hardened. Brilliant enough to earn the quiet respect of every physician around her, Lilly appears to be exactly what every emergency department hopes for. What no one knows is that before Pittsburgh, she served as an Army nurse in Iraq. While her colleagues see only a compassionate young clinician, Lilly carries years of battlefield medicine, memories she can never forget, and a past she has no desire to discuss. When violence erupts inside the emergency department, instincts forged long before civilian life return in an instant, forcing those around her to realize there is far more behind her quiet smile than they ever imagined. As relentless shifts blur into one another, friendships deepen, families fracture, and old wounds quietly resurface, Lilly must discover whether a person can truly leave war behind-or whether some parts of it simply learn to wear a different uniform. In a place where every second can mean life or death, healing isn't only for the patients. ---- PN: I've realised in the third chapter that I wrote Abbott instead of Abbot. But I was too lazy to change it afterwards and to stay consistent I'll keep that up. Hate me if you must.
