It was like any other day, i was with my daughter, amelia. She was about to fall sleep. She was in so much peace. No worry in the world. Her green eyes were shining, from the light of the moon. They slowly closed, and she drifted off into her soft snoring. For a 3 year old, she sure knows how to mess with your heart. I felt so bad. Her father left. During my deep thinkink, the tv stated making that fog horn type noise, waking me up from my trance. The news was on, with the alert reading across the screen. "TAKE COVER, STAY IN HOMES. LOCK DOORS, STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS" i lay amelia in her bed, out of my lap. I lock the windows and the doors. When i came back, i missed whatever the alert was about...i should have waited. That mistake changed my life forever...

"You hear about the new worker?" Grace said, nodding her head towards the newest office member. I glance over. Tall, dark suit, dark hair, tan, he glances our way ignoring the boss. He gives a "I know I'm attractive" smile. Oh boy. I looked away and grace is still staring. "You know he used to work at the gym?" I roll my eyes. "How would you know that?" Grace was our receptionist. I was the leading office in "Xell Corp." Our mission was to come up with this big artsy unique product and get it to sell huge. Looks like I'm going to have a rival...he looks like he means business. "I checked his record. I was the one who interviewed him. He sounds like a Very very interesting man."

I open the doors to my new school. Eager yet bored, since this has happened so many times in my life. Im so done with having to change schools. As i walk in, i find my locker and start putting my things inside. I grab my science textbook and folder, and get ready for a day like hell. I walk into my first hour and get stares from all types of people. A jock who i can tell is popular, gives me a grin. Like id want that. I sit down next to a brunett chick. She gives me a dirty look and chews her gum even louder. I look to my right and see a dark haired boy staring at me. "Way to come on strong" i thought. But thats not what he wanted at all.
