Spade decides to hide Vlad (the werewolf) at her house, because his parents are 'Werewolfists', and things pick up from there.

After a normal University trip goes wrong, Adrianne Kestrali and thirty of her school mates along with their guidance teacher are stranded on an island with no means of getting off or contacting anyone. Apparently the plane broke apart in midair and half of the passengers fell to their death. Almost immediately power battle break out amongst the survirors about who should be leader , but then they start to settle down. With her arrival though, things begin to change - slowly. Now she has to help them get the ring to Mordor - because the ending of the book isn't certain anymore.
