It not until a matter of time until she goes into the ocean and finds herself a mermaid. 14 year old Pearl has been a mermaid for her whole life. She has always lived with her mom and older sister. But one day, during a big storm, Pearl gets separated from her mother and older sister, and Pearl finds herself closer to the human world. It's not until a matter of time until these two mermaids meet and become friends. But when Pale gives Pearl a taste of a surfing competition at the human world, Pale discovers the truth that she is missing and people are preparing a reward for the people who find her. Final book in the "Pearl and Pale series." Pale can't believe it's been over 3 years since she became a mermaid. She has her best friend Pearl, and a boyfriend. She also turns out to be part of the royal family, which makes her Queen of the Sea. Over the years Pearl and Pale have been through many adventures such as protecting the kingdom from fishermen, being captured by a fisherman and his son and rescuing an infant from a bus that fell off the bridge. But, the adventure this time might be the scariest one yet. When Pearl goes exploring and accidentally cuts herself on a strange rock, she suddenly finds herself human. But, the only problem is, Pearl can't breath underwater. The only way to solve the problem is to go where no mermaid has gone before- On land. PG-13 for some cussing but not a lot. The worst romantic scene is making out.

Sequel to Pearl and Pale: The Mermaids It has been almost two years since Pearl and Pale have met. Pearl has spent her year filling her family in on what has happened when they were gone. Pale has spent her year scouring for ingredients for the permanent mermaid potion for Pacific, a cute, two year old whom Pale has saved during a bridge accident. But it's not just that going on, in two months, when she turns 16, Pale will become queen. But there is a catch, she must either marry a human or a merman.
