Emily and JJ have been married for two years, and are currently fostering a little girl named Mia. When Mia gets taken away from them, they have to learn to deal with life without her. JJ takes it the hardest, wavering between letting the grief swallow her, or getting up and seeing what life has to offer. JJ has to accept the loss of the child who she thought of as her daughter, or let herself drown in the misery. TW! vulgar language, mentions of depression, child loss, physical violence
