19-year-old Drew has inherited a business empire he doesn't want and the sins of his Mom. Will they cost him his first love, Shae? Four jet-setting friends have learned to rely on each other because their parents are either dead or have let them down. When 18-year-old Shae's uncle is murdered within a day of her brother being involved in a hit and run, the friends realize someone's after payback. Then Drew receives strange anonymous texts proving his mother, dead and buried six years ago, is alive. Payback is a fast-paced dialogue novel, full of twists and action, mystery, emotional highs and lows--you'll be thinking about the characters long after you've shut off your ipad :) In the vein of Pretty Little Liars ... I'll be updating Payback twice a week - Friday and Tuesday 7pm EST.
