The world ends as the dead rises, a convicted murderer, Lee Everett, was on his way to jail when he gets into a car accident and escapes. He ends up taken care of an eight year old boy, Clement, who was left alone in his home as his parents are in Savannah. Eventually the two end up with a large group including an eight year old girl, (y/n), who is the daughter of Carley, the news reporter. Now the group have to work together to stay alive or be eaten by the living dead.

With everyone they care about dead, Clement and (y/n) now have to be on their own and face many dangers along the way as they meet up with a new group that seems to be running and hiding from their past.

When family is all you have left...how far will you go to protect it? After society was ripped apart by undead hands, pockets of civilization emerge from the chaos. But at what cost?
