Artemis has always survived on her own terms. At sixteen, she ran - away from parents who starved her, controlled her, and used her talent as a violin prodigy for their own gain. She built a hard, quiet life on the outside, answering to no one. But that life ends anyway. When she opens her eyes again, she is somewhere else. Someone else - and yet entirely herself. She has inherited the body and the life of a girl who shares her name, her face, her fire-red hair and seafoam eyes, and a childhood that mirrors her own with an almost painful precision. A girl who stayed and fought where Artemis ran, who dragged herself through courts and lawyers and won - her money, her music, her freedom, a condo she chose herself. A life that was almost whole. Almost. Artemis doesn't know yet that the world she has landed in isn't just a parallel one. She doesn't know the names of her neighbor or his 'brothers' who come visit, or why certain names, when she finally hears them, settle into her chest like something she has always known. She doesn't know what it means that the boys who seem to want to get to know her seem to find her anyway - drawn in, one by one, by the sound of a violin played behind a closed door by a girl who isn't ready to be found. She is seventeen years old, legally emancipated, and completely alone for the first time in either life. She is also, for the first time in either life, safe. For now, that is enough.

Sang only knows life inside the white walls. She only knows two names, her true name, 005, and the name she is given by the men that run the experiments on her. Songbird. Because of how much she sings, she is known by Sang. After something happens, one of their experiments gone bad at age five, she develops powers. Powers she can't control, powers she doesn't want. Powers to move things, to set things on fire, to see things that shouldn't be there. But she finally escapes after setting the entire facility on fire. She lives on the streets for two years, before one afternoon, she begins running from one of the creatures she sees. She runs into the team on a mission to follow someone, when the creature attacks. Left with a choice, she chooses to sacrifice her safety and save one of the members of the team. And you know once you enter a certain teams life, they just won't let you go. - Took a bit of inspiration from Stranger Things, so I don't own anything from Stranger Things not the Academy.

{Completed} A lost soul in a sea of anguish and confusion, Sang floats alone, and the treacherous waters around her are starting to consume her; she's beginning to sink. In fact, she's been slowly sinking further and further into those dark depths since she was a child--ever since the abuse began. Ever since her voice was stolen by her stepmother-a jealous, envious woman who wanted what Sang Sorenson had-what the evil woman hadn't: a voice like an angel. Sang's voice is gone, the only thing she ever truly cherished. And she's starting to drown in the waters that have been rising rampantly inside her chest, but can she be saved? Is there hope for a rescue boat? Can a group of nine handsome, loving, charismatic boys be the reason Sang Sorenson rises to the surface? Will they be her life jacket, or an anchor to drag her further into the profound depths below? Can the bird without a voice finally sing once again? ❤ This is an Academy fanfic. I don't own any of these characters. They are all creations of the amazing C.L. Stone, and they all belong to her. Though, you don't have to read 'The Academy' series to understand this book. It can definitely be read as a stand-alone. ❤ Warning! Be warned, there is mature content in this book (i.e. most likely sexual content, swearing, and abuse). So, if you're uncomfortable with that, then don't read this. Also, this book will get worse before it gets better. (It starts off pretty sad.) But there is a happy ending and LOTS of love! 😉😁

Sang Sorenson had recently moved to Sunnyvale Court with her family, when there was a sudden blackout. However, this wasn't like any other normal blackout. Everything that used electricity, even cars and cellphones, had stopped working. While the world started panicking, Sang was left to fend for herself. She decided to team up with the young girl who lived across the street. ______________________________ This story is marked mature due to strong language and violence (just to be safe). This story will mostly be in Sang's point of view, but there will be some from the boys as well. There's usually a month in between my updates, sometimes it's less and sometimes it's more. If an update is late, I usually tell my followers. ||Rankings|| #1 in post-apocalyptic (Jan 19, 2019) #1 in blackout (June 12, 2019) #1 in poly (December 3, 2020) Start: September, 2018.

Sang has always existed on the edges. With no friends to call her own and an older, popular sister who keeps her distance, she has learned to stay small. Quiet, clumsy, and painfully shy, she slips through the halls unnoticed. Some call her an outsider. Most don't notice her at all. Hidden behind oversized glasses and baggy clothes, she is used to being invisible and she prefers it that way. Until the day someone finally notices her. The Blackbourne team never intended to get close, but they find themselves drawn to the quiet girl everyone else overlooks. Their mission at Ashley Waters comes first, yet Sang's past begins to intertwine with it in ways none of them expect. When things escalate, the Toma team is brought in, and it quickly becomes clear that both teams are falling for her. As the lines between duty and emotion begin to blur, Sang is faced with something she has never had before: people who choose her. And for the first time, she begins to learn what it truly means to be loved, and to belong. ━━━━━━━━━━ Fanfiction of C.L. Stone's Ghost Bird and Scarab Beetle series. Confirmed HEA RH ending with Sang x Blackbourne Team x Toma Team. No male x male pairings. Rewritten as of 5/2/2026

Sang Sorenson is known by many names. The Ice Warrior. Winter's Warrior. The Frozen-Hearted Witch. Out of her many names, however, there are two reoccurring themes. She is either a person to be respected and loved, or a monster to fear. She is said to be heartless, a cold, cruel, unforgiving witch by many- and they aren't wrong. However, talk to anyone in the kingdom of Glacialis Regnum and you'll hear that in this icy wasteland, she's the warmest most gentle and caring thing around. This is also true. What happens when the Blackbourne Team stumbles across Sang and her icy homelands?

Everybody knows the cast of Ghost Bird- the hit TV show has brought them from relative anonymity to media fame. For the past two seasons, Ghost Bird has centered around nine guys as they formed the best Academy team in history. For the third season, the WION Network producers decide that the show has become too mundane and begin the search for a female costar. They want someone beautiful, talented, and creative- someone like Sang Sorenson. The addition may not be as well received as they had hoped though, and when the show is threatened with disaster, the GB cast must try their hardest to save it. Ghost Bird is fanfiction of C. L. Stone's Academy series.

Numb3r 10 is a crossover between C. L. Stone's Ghost Bird series and the TV show Numb3rs. Dr. Sang Sorenson is a math genius-she's made a name for herself as one of the top mathematicians in the country. The Blackbourne team has moved on from the Academy and transferred their skills to working at the FBI. They're about to learn that sometimes, math is exactly what they need to solve a difficult case. This story is going to be written in a TV show format with several chapters comprising one "episode". I'm going to upload one "episode" at a time, which means that updates will take longer but each one will be an entire case. This is a fanfiction of C. L. Stone's Ghost Bird series and the TV show Numb3rs. No profit is being made from this fanfiction.
