After seeing her quirk, he subtly beings to study the quiet girl, trying to notice any discrepancies in her stories. When the League of Villains attack the USJ, Bakugo is the only one who notices how Miyamoto reacts to the concept of being captured or killed. That, coupled with what he learned earlier, interests him enough to try to find out what exactly happened to her to make the only expression Miyamoto knows is fear.
