Sirens are real, they are the women that have been thrown off of ships to drown in the name of superstition. Genevieve Grenier is one of them. In 1653 she was kidnapped by Captain Jack and his crew of pirates, as she was left to die she was saved. Genevieve knows that too many lives have been lost because of him, and she knows he must die. As she swims across the world looking for him, she starts to figure out that Captain Jack isn't quite as human as he appears.
