This story will be about detective Jay Halstead and detective Erin Lindsay from NBC Chicago PD. This story is about their everyday lives being hero's stopping the criminals of Chicago in the intelligence unit of the 21st district. This story will show the challenges that Linstead must go through everyday at work but also in their personal lives to get to where they want to be. These are not my characters and I do read alot of Linstead fan fiction so if something seams similar to your story I am sorry I am not copying, these are just the ideas that get stuck in my mind. It was by chance that Evelyn became a police officer. That was simply because her aunt is a sergeant and she liked the sound of it. However, it wasn't chance that she became part of intelligence and had a connection with the one and only Jay Halstead. Only time will tell if all the pieces fit into place.
