"I was broken. Nothing, no one could fix me. Until you came into my life again. I wish I had gone with you that day instead of him. Because, now I can't imagine how I spent the previous years of my life without you by my side. You are my savior. You showed me that its okay to be broken and you showed me that I wasn't alone. You were with me. i love you for that. But I hate that I love you. I was never good with love. I'm scared that one day I'll wake up without you by my side. One day you will realize that you are better off without me and I don't want that day to come. Not now, not ever. I love you too much to let you go. I finally have a place in this world and that is next to you. You once said, 'Our mistakes compliment each other.' Truer words than these were never said before. We are both broken and incomplete but together, we're whole and we're fixed. We might be too bad for the others, but we are good for each other. They say all good things come to an end, but I'm bad and so are you. Together, we are horrible. But that just means that we're inevitable. You are mine and I promise to forever be yours." We've all watched about a million Romantic Comedies where the boy breaks up with his girlfriend because he realizes he's in love with someone else, the "right" girl. And when this finally happens, we're all really happy about it. They immediately set off together, paying no mind to the fact that the boy was in a different relationship, I don't know, about five seconds ago. The person we never think about is the ex-girlfriend, the "wrong" girl. And why not? It hardly seems fair, once you think about it. She's the one always being dumped, or left at the alter, or publicly humiliated. But no one even spares her a second thought, because she was just in the way the whole time. She kept the right girl away from the boy for so long. And of course, we were all rooting for the right girl, who wouldn't be? Serena Briggs was just as guilty of this as everyone else is, until her boyfriend Brayden dumped her for his best friend in front of half the school. Then she became the real life wrong girl.

NOTE: this story is no longer ongoing. I have some notes about this in the most recent chapter :) When I finish the last bit of beer, I hold the bottle upside down. "It's all gone." "It's all gone," she confirms, a serious expression on her face. "What do we do?" She looks at me expectantly, like I know all the answers to life, even though I'm so drunk, I can't even think straight. I have no idea what I should do, but I sure as hell know what I want to do. And even though I shouldn't, I really shouldn't, I lean forward until our foreheads are touching, because that's what I want to do. "This," I whisper, and press my lips to hers. ******** Nate's the school player; he gets any girl he wants, when he wants. When Aubrey, the hottest, yet sweetest, girl he's ever met, transfers to his school, he thinks that he's in for a good lay. But after spending a drunken night together, Aubrey offers him something he doesn't expect, and can't refuse - a friends with benefits relationship. They click surprisingly well, so when Nate finds out why Aubrey is always so uptight, he decides that he's going to help her loosen up a bit. So every Saturday, he comes up with something wild and exciting for her to do. And every Saturday, they fall for each other, just a little bit more.
