Chloe's POV "I've given you everything you ever wanted," Jackson says as he follows me into the living room while I carry two duffle bags in my hands. His voice is heavy with frustration. "What else do I have to do to make you happy?" "Nothing... I just need some time alone," I reply, tears slipping down my cheeks. "Fine. If you really want to call it quits between us, then go ahead and leave. I promise you-I won't try to stop you this time." Jackson spits the words angrily, then yanks the front door wide open. "I'll be back next week to get the rest of my things." Wiping my tear-stained cheeks with the back of my hand, I walk out of the house, my heart breaking with every step.
