Dawn had just lost her parents in a mysterious house fire with no known cause. Now she must move in with her aunt and cousin and go to a school where she knows no one. She thought she knew her parents, and who she really was but she thought wrong. Cole has secrets, and dawn has a feeling that he doesn't really like her. At all. She soon meets an older girl who was also dead and the girl tells Eadlyn that she needs to find a way to find peace before she becomes a vengeful spirit. The longer Eadlyn stays as a ghost, the angrier and more violent she gets. The mysterious girl and Eadlyn have to help each other find the light before time runs out. If they don't, they will be stuck there only to become poltergeists.
