When Hellboy, Abe Sapien, Liz Sherman, and the B.P.R.D. get a new addition to their group of 'freaks', she turns everthing upside down.

Sophie Johnson lives in a world where half of it is submerged by the ocean. Before she was born the world changed drastically, and now science overpowers all else. It's now a world where humans live in a fantasy world called Replica, and robots are used as slaves. Sophie is completely set against the idea of robot slaves but when her sister buys her one from an auction everything begins to change. She quickly discovers that there's more to robots than they let on. They have the capacity for human emotions. Hate, anger, pity, happiness, joy...and love. But many people stand in the way of her and her robot love, and they will do anything they can to keep her from talking.
