Summer Jacobs knew full well about her town’s tradition. Every year at the end of the summer, a party would be held on school grounds without the knowledge of the parents or the teachers. It had been happening since before Summer was born and never once was anyone the wiser. This year however, everyone was going to find out. Summer had planned a weekend of alcohol, bad decisions and horrendous photo’s which she would later un-tag herself from on Facebook. A whole weekend with her friends at the biggest party of the year, without any worries or parents telling her what to do. So how she ended up trapped in the school with a deranged psycho killing her classmates off one by one, she will never know. It wouldn’t have been as bad if she was trapped on her own. She would have been happier to face the lunatic solo rather than be trapped with a guy who kept using the life or death situation to make passes at her. His theory was being so close to death should definitely loosen her up, and by ‘loosen up’ he definitely meant ‘get naked.’ Along with his friends who between them had the IQ of a baby tree stump, an outcast who probably still had Spiderman bed sheets and the cheerleaders who were more worried about all the blood staining their new white jeans, they had to somehow make it out of there alive. And to think, Summer’s biggest worry that weekend was waking up with a brutal hangover… ©makeandoffer

Highest ranking: #1 in Teen Fiction -- "Sunshine, what guy do you know has a weird fetish with sign language?" She's the aftermath of a high school party nightmare. Tragedy robbed her of her innocence and stole her voice before she had the chance to speak out. The court called her a liar, and the guilty was set free. Now memories plague her mind and trap her in solitude. She was forced to learn sign language, struggling to find a way to voice her silence. He's the definition of the boy she tried to stay away from. The epitome of harsh rumors and hopeless fantasies. The source of lies and blame. He's analyzed, misunderstood, and utterly mysterious. And he may be the one to find her voice. When they meet, she gets accustomed to his arrogance and he gets accustomed to her silence. An essay is what brings them together, but what happens when he starts asking too many questions? Will her past continue to drag her down, or will he save her? Fate has a funny way of bringing people together, but it doesn't always work how it's supposed to. *different summary inside* "Perfect amount of tragedy, humor, and romance!" -Sparkles530 "I feel like I learned a lot from your story, thank you." - 980Sarah "This book is beautifully written. I did not plan on stumbling into the middle of a movie shooting. I did not plan on commenting how poor the acting of the lead female was. And I most definitely did not plan on finding myself speaking the lines in her place, opposite none other than Adrian Carter, the teenage heartthrob of Hollywood. But if anything in this universe ever went according to my plan, then the lead protagonist in the horror movie I was watching wouldn't have died by opening the damn door when I clearly asked her not to. But oh well, problems seemed to be attracted to me like the opposite ends of the magnets. *** Addison Woods is a seventeen year old who has a strong passion for acting. Being the daughter of the world's most renowned movie-set and graphics designer, she has always been in touch with this industry all her life. So what happens when, after losing a bet she is asked to spend a night in the spooky mansion, where she finds herself speaking the lines of the lead female instead? But if you think that she becomes a star and her dream comes true so easily, you're dead wrong. Because Addison never liked it easy. So, will this incident set her life straight, or will it actually turn it upside down? Read on to find out! ALL RIGHTS RESERVED

Jordan's life changed the moment she met Jesse Jacobsen. He was immature, cocky, and the most annoying boy she had ever met in her entire life. And he fell hopelessly in love with her at first sight. Four years later and nothing much has changed between them. Though academically bright, Jordan isn't exactly the smartest when it comes to love. Even though at times Jesse makes it clearly obvious how he feels about her, she just doesn't get it. Or... she's deeply in denial. After being sent away because of their bad behavior, Jordan finds out Jesse's biggest secret. As they grow closer, they find themselves getting deeper and deeper into something that seems impossible to get out of. She must keep her growing relationship with her enemy a secret from everyone close to her. Her life, and theirs, depends on it. (Watty Awards 2011 Winner)
