It's a story that takes place in DreamWorks Dragons: Race to the Edge (season 2). In this story Hiccup loses his memory of an attack by Viggo's dragon hunters. And the riders helps him to get his memory back. Hope you like it.

I knew he didn't know what he was doing. He was confused, sad. I knew he didn't want to let go of me, and I didn't either. But he did anyways. Seeing him everyday is just another wave of pain in my heart, knowing that I can't tall to him again, or touch him. Or even look at him, but I do when he isn't looking. It just leaves me broken. How lucky I was to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.

What happens when you finally realize that the one you think you'll love for the rest of the life, was just right by your side? Specifically taming dragons and sharpening our tools? I never thought I'd look at Hiccup this way. It's unexpected, I guess.

If you thought I was giving up on Hiccup, I wasn't. I will never. We've been through so much. When I get my hands on Merida, I'm not showing her any mercy.
