Faith, or so she goes by now, has been wandering the zombie-infested world by herself. She's survived, she's never had to protect anyone. Just how she likes it. She has turned down every offer to come into a group. She's never even wanted to. But when Rick's group meets her on a supply run, she gets taken back to camp, and she meets the mysterious Daryl Dixon. His brother is the high school bully of every nerds nightmares, and when he notices her and his brother are attracted to each other, he orders her to stay away from her. But she can't. And neither can he.

No one ever expects the world to end, everyone thinks things will be fine and dandy and when the time comes that they'll be long gone. But what happens when people who are dead come back as flesh eating monsters? A new infection has spread across the world, making the dead walk, or stumble in all truth. At the time of the outbreak Carlee was out backpacking with her two siblings, life was never easy for Carlee and it's about to get a whole lot harder. Daryl Dixon has been in a group with Rick Grimes for almost a year now, and he still doesn't trust anybody. His camp is always away from the rest and he feels as if he's only there to be a henchman. But can one girl change that?

Beatrix and Daryl had never met before. In fact, they lived two completely different lives. Beatrix lived in the city, right beside of the hospital, which is where she spent most of her time. Her favorite thing to do at work-besides work, of course-was to talk to her patients and the nurses. She had never been in trouble a day in her life. She had a perfect record, not even being stained with as little as a speeding ticket. Daryl lived in a secluded cabin, at least three miles away from any civilization. The only time he ever talked to anybody was when he was forced to at work. He was constantly in and out of jail, mostly taking the blame for his older brother, but nobody knew that except for him. He destroyed the name Dixon. You couldn't have picked two people that were more different. What happens when the apocalypse brings them together? Will they ever be able to be together? She instantly fell head over heels for the redneck of the name Daryl Dixon! Daryl had also gotten feelings for Carly, but wouldn't show them. Eventually through the time of the ended world, Carly and Daryl are brought to face challenges with one another, and the dead having to act together and think alike to survive. They were brought together with their pasts, and became best friends... It was killing each other inside to think that they were nothing more. That is until one day that brought everything together.. That brought them to see each other better as one rather than two. Will they finally admit their feelings? Or will they just fall apart and remain friends?
