Odd-named Hale Abbott boards a bus with the same sorrow she does every day. The seats are always taken, causing her to sit in places she would rather not. Then, one day, after waiting in the freezing drizzle for the stupid bus to pull up, she finds herself with nowhere else to sit but beside the silent and cute guy with bright eyes and a big backpack.
