Ello all! ♡ My cousin and I love the Darkest Powers series by Kelley Armstrong so much we've decided to do this. It's basically us putting our self into the story and writing from there. If you haven't read the darkest powers series I highly recommend not reading this. Spoiler Alert! We right in different character's POV, including Rae! I felt like Rae didn't get enough book time in Kelly's stories so I've given her her own little side stories ♡ The story starts off at the beginning of the awakening when Chloe and Tori get captured. We had so much fun writing this so we hope you enjoy. To any darkest powers fans, we are sorry if some of the details from Kelley's story gets mixed up or aren't right. Nobody is perfect afterall. Ever wondered what Derek Souza was thinking during the books? Well, stop wondering ;) These are some scenes from all three books in The Darkest Powers Trilogy (By Kelley Armstrong) but in Derek's POV.

This is set after "The Reckoning" by Kelley Armstrong. I started it because I want this series to continue, and I hope that people who feel the same way will enjoy it! ~~ Chloe, Derek, Simon and Tori all seem to be safe with Kit and Lauren...but are they really? ~~ Excerpt: |I saw Derek fall beside me. "Derek!" I gasped in horror, dropping down beside him. He blinked his eyes warily, "I think I got shot." "No kidding," I laughed nervously, noticing the blood dripping from his leg. Derek looked at his leg and then back at me, panic in his eyes. "They're over here!" I hear someone shout to our right. Derek looks at me and pushes me up. "Go, I'll be okay." "You really think I'd do that?" I laugh humourless. "A guy can try," he muttered, trying to get up. I looked around at our surroundings, looking for a hiding spot that would fit both of us. I see a clump of bushes and point them out to Derek. He nods and crawls over, blood dripping from his leg. Pushing through, he reaches for me. Once we're out of sight, I take a look at his bullet wound. My eyes widen when I see how bad it is. I take my sweater off and rip off the sleeve. I wrap the sleeve around Derek's leg and inspect it. No blood drips through so I take that as a good sign, although he'll need stitches. Derek pulled me closer as the voices drew nearer. "Can you see them?" A radio cracks. "No," a female voice says right in front of us, "But I saw them go this way." I pushed myself deeper into the bush, careful not to bump into Derek as I go. A flashlight shines around us, then lands directly where we're sitting. Derek shifts uncomfortable next to me, afraid she found us. "Chloe," the woman says... |
