[this is the sequel to Pest] Dan graduated high school and moved onto the college of his dreams with the man of his dreams, but he still struggles with his anxiety and general aversion to people. ~this is a safe story (no cutting/suicide/etc). Dan Howell has never been the most social person. He can't be touched, or else he has a major panic attack; he's cold and distant to everyone except his best friend, Cat; all he ever really does is study. One day, an unusually perky boy moves to town and becomes extremely interested in Dan. TRIGGER WARNING: panic attacks and general anxiety

"Are you insane or are you just that broken?" he whispered, his face inches from mine. "I'm a little bit of both," I admitted, looking into his eyes. "A trip into my mind would be a trip into a nightmare."

Dan Howell was the typical spoiled, rich boy with butlers driving him to operas and maids making him nachos for breakfast. Phil Lester, however, was the opposite. Barely any money and deadbeat parents, he lives in a bad neighborhood in a gross apartment with cat hair covering the carpet and an odd roommate. And then Dan's parents decide he needs to love someone rather than himself, and when Phil shows up at his mansion steps, Dan's parents grow fond of him- so much that the two are exchanging rings and Phil is moving in with his new spouse. They tell Dan he should give it a few months, to be patient, and if he still doesn't like him then they'll sign the divorce papers and call it quits. Marriage isn't perfect, right? Well this one is the exact example. But they could always pretend.

Sad shit I come up with. (Mostly oneshots.) Hindsight 2021: Some really messed up shit. 14-15 y/o me projecting my issues onto fictional versions of Dan Howell and Phil Lester. I hope they never saw these. Good stories still, kind of, but read with caution. Triggerwarnings have been added.
