Nere and her friends are back from Atlantea, along with (most of) Kuron's kids. Nere is still torn between Dai and Tobin and fights to control her feelings. The kids try to adjust to life back at Safety Harbor, but just when everything seems ok again, they get an unexpected- and dangerous- surprise from an old "friend." Meanwhile, the Neptune scientists decide that it's time to tell the rest of the world about the Project. How will the rest of the world react? Who is the mysterious friend? Who will Nere choose?
