Richard Faulkner, Jr. and Madeline "Dei" Mendez have been best friends since college, with a hint of something more in between. Both budding writers, they survived college supporting each other through thick and thin, content with the no label closeness they shared. Until Richard gets his big break of getting his book chosen for a movie, with Dei's superstar sister Kathryn starring in it. All of a sudden, Richard is dazzled by Kathryn's incandescent beauty and grace, and Dei is the proverbial third wheel. Seen by fans as the bitch sister, she gets the ire of fans for being Richard's confidante and best friend. Yet despite Richard's attraction for Kathryn, he still keeps coming back to her. Should she give in to her feelings this time? Or must she give way to fandom pressure and be "The Good Sister?"
