It has been over a year since the crisis in Hoenn was stopped and Steven and Sapphire have been traveling to other regions together ever since. Once the two trainers find out, they return to Hoenn only for Sapphire to get captured herself! Now Courtney and Steven must team up to rescue Sapphire. Afterwards they must find out where this mysterious group is holding all of the other trainers captive, and only Zinnia knows where they are; however, Courtney has to pay her in return: an old diary. But, they only have a matter of time because Blaise's life is in danger, and they also must find the leader of this group: Minoru. So Ruby helps her get one, which also inspires him to go on a journey as well with his Pokedex. Sapphire finally leaves, but she has to lay low so her father won't catch her. There are some gym leaders who are too busy to battle, don't want to battle, and are just too tough. To make matters worse, Team Magma and Aqua are causing trouble just to save the world? One of the team's leader even wants her to join them, but why? Also, who is the ally who is most willing to help her? For Sapphire, she will face many foes, family, and friends, old and new, on her journey, pushing her past her limits for power. Can she do it?
