"Remind me again why I thought spending six weeks with a bunch of hyperactive, sweaty and supposedly 'musically gifted' kids was a good idea?" Bailey Cunningham has gone and taken the plunge - she's not only signed up for the job of a camp counselor at Triple Lakes Camp for Musically Gifted Children, but she's roped her best friend, Savannah, into it too. However, the pair really get more than they bargained for when they discover they'll be sharing their summer with not only the kids, but the guy who looks as if he's stepped out of an Abercrombie and Fitch catalog, the quirky brother, and the sugar-coated flautist who's way too sweet for her own good. In the midst of the madness, only one thing's for sure: Bailey knows absolutely nothing about music.

He needs a place to live, she needs a baby daddy. Pietro Santangelo and Marguerite White are students at prestigious Columbia University in New York City. She is a fun-loving, free spirit who finds herself in a bit of a familial bind, he is an exchange student with a chronic case of poverty. They concoct a plan that they think will work, not realizing how much changes with two simple words... Pete merely looked at her and opened a box of books. He took some out and began placing them on the shelves, bending and stretching at his task. He had a nice back, broad shoulders and muscles that could be seen clearly under his light blue T-shirt. Daisy watched for a minute, fascinated. "Like what you see?" he asked without turning around. She jumped at the sound of his voice. "Well, you're the only thing in the room that's moving, you know?" she said by way of explanation. He turned around to look at her, books in either hand, a small grin on his face. "Of course, what was I thinking?" he asked rhetorically. "And look. We're both adults here, hm?" He looked carefully at her. "The couch we just brought up here cost fifty dollars at the second-hand store, and has to be at least thirty years old. I don't want to sleep on it, and I don't think you're going to want to sleep on it, either." She shook her head. "So the bed is nice and big," he continued. "I think we can manage, don't you? We can share the bed." He watched her for her reaction. "I give you my word this is not going to be a problem for me. At all. Is this going to be a problem for you?" She looked at him. "Really? At all?" She recovered from the unintentional meaning of his words quickly. "No, it won't be a problem for me, either," she said firmly. "We can share the bed." "Please don't do this." I begged, as tears streamed down my face, making my mascara run. My eyes traveled from his face, that handsome boyish face, down to the floor. Down to the dead bodies. "Oh God," I choked, my life flashing before my eyes, as I felt his fingers slip from my shoulders down to the knife. He put it to my throat gently, so that he didn't cut it. Yet. "I'm sorry." He muttered. "Please...." I begged. "Please." His lips pressed against mine, and I shuddered against him. Dear God, Please don't let this happen. This is the story of how I met him. The story of how he stole my heart, just as carelessly as he stole peoples lives away from them. Maybe. Maybe not. When I think about it, I still smile. Even though I know the sad and terrible ending, I can't help but smile. He was my best friend. He was so loving. So caring. He taught me everything. But, he also destroyed everything. He was just like that. He was just the mass murder that loved me, and that's how I'll always remember him. I dare say, that's how I'll always cherish him.

***The wrong girl is sometimes The Right One.*** Charlotte Samuels thought she'd be stuck waiting tables at Marlow's until all her debts are paid off-in about ten thousand years or so. She definitely didn't expect a marriage proposal from the arrogant Brandon Maxfield who was blackmailed by his father to make her his wife if he didn't want his least favorite cousin to run Maxfield Industries. Charlotte's instinct was to say HELL NO! but she's stumped by a few obstacles: 1.) His old man Martin Maxfield is dear to her heart and has been recently deteriorating in health. 2.) She gets a million dollars if she stays married to Brandon for a year. 3.) She would rather like the opportunity to teach the attractive but awfully rude man a few lessons he didn't think he needed from a 'teenage gold-digger' which was his term of endearment for her on their first date-er, business meeting. So what's a girl got to do, right? Sure, she's young and a little rough around the edges but there's something her would-be husband didn't know about her yet-she's nothing like he ever expected. Thrust into the glitzy world a standard-issue Mrs. Maxfield would fit perfectly and rule with impeccable social grace, Charlotte will either have to force herself into the mold or break free of it, risking what little she has left for everything that she can gain. *** Copyright © 2014 by Nina Tippett. Samantha and Josh are soulmates, everyone in their small town of Lincoln, Texas knows it. But when Josh ends things two weeks before the start of their senior year, Sam is left reeling. She knows they belong together, even as life tries to get in the way. What she doesn't know is how strong she can be on her own. A big thanks to Huey-h for the amazing new cover!! Excerpts: I want to marry you one day, he said quietly, but deadly serious. I leaned up again to look at him, his eyes were fierce and sparkled endlessly. I knew he meant it and while it probably should have scared me, how much I loved him and how much he loved me, it didn't. Not one bit. If you really put your mind to it, I said softly. I think you can make it happen. He smiled before kissing me, and in that moment, under the stars with our perfect soundtrack playing in the background and his strong arms holding me tight, he tasted like forever. I believe you, Sam said, her voice straining. I've always believed you and in you, but you've never trusted me. You didn't trust me to be there for you when things got hard. You didn't trust me not to run to Paul. I don't have feelings for Paul. How would I know? Josh spat, trying to keep her mad at him. If she was upset enough, maybe she'd leave him alone and start to move on. Paul's great, why wouldn't you like him? Because he's not you, she said softly, and his whole world collapsed.
