A short story that I can't say too much about, without giving the game away. It was inspired by an allegedly true Reddit post, and heavily influenced by the work of Shirley Jackson, Robin Hardy, and Stephen King.

Cleo Evan is 19 years old. She is tired of the abuse at home and the lack of respect. She has been treated like dirt for long enough. She takes off on a journey to prove to the people of her old life she matters and can make it in the world. ••• She never expected him. Never in a million years. •••
