The world is changing, and the children of the ruling elves of Arda know it! The tale takes place centuries after the events of The Last Queen, and follows familiar faces into the greatest battles of their lives. Ellenya is a Princess with a traumatic past, a lack of a mother figure, and an unsettled heart. She is reluctant to buy into the looming war and is focused on one thing - saving her people. Her brother Legolas - the heir and hero of their people - is forced into a defining decision. A suicide mission to try and destroy the relic of Sauron. Meanwhile Elrond's sons continue their protection of the North and their endeavours to protect the innocent. But, Elladan is distracted over concerns for his dearest childhood friend, and Elrohir is convinced it is more than just concern that drives his brother. Whilst their little sister Arwen battles with her heart and her head. In the face of obliteration, can the children of the last Elven Lords of Arda find enough hope to survive? Can they finish the battles that began with their ancestors? And, can they find love in spite of the darkness that overwhelms them. ***ElladanXOC romance*** ***future LegolasXOC romance*** **AU story based on the events of my fanfic The Last Queen. Not essential to read it but it is useful** *Disclaimer: All recognisable characters belong to Tolkien. This is not for profit and just for enjoyment.

AFTER the Battle of Five Armies, an elf prince journeys to the north of Middle Earth in search of the mysterious Strider. But to also escape the grief of a 'love unspoken' as well as the oppressive regime of his father, King Thranduil. There among the Dúnedain, Legolas finds friendship, adventure, a sense of humor and a female ranger who is not quite what she seems. Is he fated to forever love another unrequited? And what of the broken relationship with his father, will the prince's choices drive a deeper wedge between them? A classic love story, filled with adventure and intrigue, but ALSO a journey into the unwritten years of the beginning of an epic friendship with Aragorn; all set prior to 'The Lord of the Rings'. *Feb 2018: 2nd in The Middle Earth Awards* *June 2018: 2nd in Arkenstone (The Hobbit) category, The Tolkien Awards* *July 2018: Official Featured Wattpad Fanfiction* *Jan 2019: #3 in Romance Hotlist (181k stories) -0-0-0-0-0- I may have nicknamed this story 'Pride and Prejudice for Elves', our silver-haired princeling has several centuries of repression he needs to work through, as well lighten up - before he can become the elf that we know and love in LOTR! The story is COMPLETE! All votes and comments greatly appreciated. I'd be absolutely thrilled to have you join me on this journey of self-discovery in Middle Earth. The best writing in this story belongs to @GreenScholarTales, who kindly allowed me to weave my romance into her story, 'Starting Anew.' Please go and see her other works and her original series on Wattpad, The Book of Terrus. The beautiful painting on the cover was kindly loaned by the highly talented Irishmellow, see her awesome work at https://irishmellow.deviantart.com/ Copyright: Tolkien owns all the familiar characters, Jackson & Co. own Tauriel and the starting premise, Green Scholar owns several significant events and almost all of the rangers ... but one, Wren, she is all mine!

[A Wattpad FEATURED story!] She's been King Thranduil's close friend for a long time. But when a shocking rumor about his past comes to light, it shakes her entire world. How well does she really know him? With the threat of war and an uncertain future for the Woodland Realm, her comfortable life is changing forever, and so are her feelings for her friend. A story about second chances with eventual romance. Set during the events of the Lord of the Rings. Thranduil/OC Disclaimer: Everything belongs to Tolkien except for my characters. A/N: It was before Christmas 2014 when I first watched BBC's Emma with Romola Garai (wonderful, by the way - watch it if you haven't). A few days later I went to see The Hobbit BOTFA on its opening night. It was during a car trip from a family Christmas party when I came up with idea for this story. And while it doesn't follow the Jane Austen classic completely (Thranduil is no Mr. Knightley!), it was certainly inspired by it. I enjoyed the challenge. Check out the FB page for the story: facebook.com/StarsofVardafanpage/ (thanks to @MaggieShivers for creating it and running it!)

An origin tale that takes place before the events of the main story "To Live Again." It returns to Oropher's youth in Doriath, to a time before he was nothing more than a young lord in Thingol's court. It explores the love between he and his wife, the birth of his legendary son "Thranduil" their escape from Doriath, and the eventual coming to Greenwood. This is how a King is made. ***Not necessary to read the original "To Live Again" fanfiction. This is an ode to Oropher - after so many readers asked for more. DISCLAIMER: I do not own the amazing literature work of the master Tolkien. Only my own OC's and plots. Cover Design by SineadRobyn

My following words of yore and spite may shock you to the very core. They acknowledge a fact known to few, and even less, known to heart. But please, by the whim of mind and patience of soul, I beseech you to listen all the clear. Tolkien's tale of Middle Earth has fallen from its original translation. His story of Thorin Oakenshield's company once bore truth, but fate was reconstructed in light of a prophecy: The girl born of flame, fostered by the dwarves, royal in her name, and her child's birth. She is the one and only protector of Middle Earth, guardian over Mordor, savior of our royal dwarf. Her knowledge will be countered by family's unknown survival, though fate will turn it right as in sacrifice of her royal line. It isn't just a story, but the Valar's greatest mistake; let the heavens toll loud to save Durin's sons After the war of the ring and the destruction of Sauron, the Valar decided to repeat the past, starting at the union of the company within a small hobbit hole in the typically quiet Shire. Why, you may ask, did they decide to do this? Originally, the Valar had ignored the prophecy stated above (as they had done in the past), allowing the Durin line to be exterminated by the Pale Orc, Azog. However, the reign of Dain and his heirs as they took Erebor's throne turned out to be heartless and cruel, unlike the intended fate of Erebor foretold. Therefore, the Valar decided to turn back the clock, 60 years, giving Gandalf the idea to invite the "girl of fire" to the meeting in Hobbiton. Indeed, this did bring about the intended fate of the Lonely Mountain as well as infinite happiness to the company of heroic dwarves. This is her story, as she sacrificed her line in saving Durin. Disclaimer: I do not own anything in this story except for Erudian, Sidel, and Typhon as well as any events or dialogue I added. The remaining content is credited to J.R.R. Tolkien and Peter Jackson. Legolas/OC Romance/Adventure. Even after the Ring's destruction, evil still lurks in Middle Earth. Legolas uncovers an ancient threat, one that could spell the doom of men and elves. Legolas promised Aragorn he'd start an elven colony in Gondor...only leadership was never Legolas' forte. He's recruiting elves from his realm and Lothlorien, but not all of them are gung-ho Legolas fans! In fact, some of them are downright resentful. He's struggling to make things work before they even reach the colony. And if he weren't having enough problems, he and his scouts encounter something truly terrible...all on the way to Building Ithilien. Cover Art Credit: "Elven Archer" by John Alvin.
