Kaitlyn Jones is 15 years old, and is completely regular. She is that one kid people like to pick on at school, she is that one kid that no one ever invites to parties. Her life is as boring as can be, until her mom gets fatally injured in a car accident. Since her family was struggling already before the tragic event, her dad can't take care of Kaitlyn on his own, and she gets sent away to her Uncle's ranch in Colorado.
