Cleo was turning 17 when she first experienced the Rush. Every hour on the hour someone get taken. You have to get to a safe place. If you don't, you are gone. "BARRY HURRY UP YOU HAVE 5 SECONDS!" In my mind I counted down. 5... 4... He's not going to make it 3... 2... Barry was almost to the door. 1... Then it was pitch black outside. The darkness was like a fog. I heard Luke yell for Barry. Jonas was right next to me. Staring out the window. Examining the blackness that had descended upon the world.

Laney jumped awake sweating bullets, and panting heavily despite being too tired to even move. She ran her hands through her messy, unkept hair and peered around her dark room. Silence filled her room as she began to relax again. "It was just a nightmare, he can't get you here" she said aloud. She lay back down in her bed, planning on going back to sleep. But suddenly, through her tired eyelids, she saw her lanterns in her room begin to grow lighter, filling her room with dim light. Laney again opened her eyes and sat up, only to see multiple shadowy, child like figures surrounding the her bed. All staring at her with glowing white eyes. Silent. There was one sitting on her bed, it had small antlers, and small claw-like fingers. And it spoke. "He's comming"
