At seventeen years old, Sang Sorensen knows that she isn't normal. Her father's the President, for one. For another, she's been in love with the Vice President's son, Victor Morgan, since she was fourteen and she's still not sure if he feels the same way. And then there's the increasingly disturbing mail from her own secret admirer, one who suddenly doesn't seem so harmless. After a bomb threat the Department of Justice is still making sense of, Sang starts her senior year intent on keeping her head down, intent on finding some semblance of normal. Until she meets a group of guys who make her question if that's even what she really wants. ----- Disclaimer: This is fan fiction based off of CL Stone's (amazing) Academy series and inspired by Sierra Simone's American Queen. I'm receiving no financial gain from this nor will any be sought.

This contains a selection of one-shots that DON'T happen in the series. You don't need to read this to understand the story. Some will be written by me when I go off on a tangent (Ohh... Silas' hands), others may be by other very talented writers :D

At the Sorenson Academy for Girls, girls must be poised, proper, perfect -- or else. The unwanted daughter of the Sorenson Academy's Mistress, Sang remains in the shadows, enduring her abusive mother to keep the younger girls safe - both from her 'disobedience lessons' and the men and women that want to purchase them as pets. But when the Blackbourne team arrives to help, will Sang let them help her, too? ---- Note: This is a mix of The Academy series by CL Stone and loosely based on the world of Perfected by Kate Jarvik Birch. All primary characters portrayed are those of CL Stone, and I'm receiving no financial gains from this, nor will any be sought.

Don't talk to strangers. That warning had never been more true, especially when Sang encounters an odd woman outside the closest gas station. Who would have known how quickly that old woman could turn her world upside down? Sang hadn't meant to summon a spirit. Especially not nine of them. (Most characters/situations/locations are based off C.L. Stone's Ghost Bird series.)

Soulmates. One true love. Your destined one. A voice in the back of your head that never leaves. In Sang Sorenson's experience, that statement is completely wrong. She doesn't have one voice in her head, she has nine. Nine boys with different voices. Nine different personalities. Nine different people that were supposed to love her. Except that was four years ago and she hasn't been able to speak to them since. That's about to change. (I do not own anything but the non-canon situations I've created. All the characters/places/ and some events come directly from C.L. Stone's Ghost Bird Series.)

Sang isn't a fifteen-year-old cowering at the hands of her stepmother. She's on her own. Eighteen and living in a house her father bribed her with alongside two faithful dogs, she's been paving her own way since the payout a year ago. When Marie died in a car accident, her mother was hospitalized and her father remarried. Sang was left with a house on Sunnyvale Court, another two years in high school, and no friends to speak of. She's made it just fine on her own and she's not apologizing for existing anymore. Meeting nine new guys right before her senior year at Ashley Waters is an odd coincidence that shakes her foundation and causes her to reevaluate what matters to her. After all, she didn't need friends then, she doesn't need friends now. Right?

Sang Sorenson. Violinist. Victor Morgan. Pianist. Both are household names, but one isn't said without the other. Not since they became everyone's favorite couple. Again, they make beautiful music individually, but when they perform together it's like nothing you've ever heard. In fact, when they're playing music together is the only time in public that they aren't putting on a performance. Their relationship in the eyes of the rest of the world is a performance to keep the press and their families relatively happy. When it's just Sang and Victor, though? That's when they're real. And through the stress of their families, through their shared distaste of fame, and through all the trials they must face, they form an unbreakable bond. Through Victor, Sang gets to meet the rest of the Blackbourne Team and experience true friendship, along with finally knowing what it feels like to have a family who doesn't care where you live, how much money you have, or what you look like. With the Blackbourne Team, Sang finds her true family. Ghost Bird Story. Idea from @JalizaBurwell

"Here be dragons" A phrase meaning dangerous or unexplored territories, frequently used in the 1700s and earlier by cartographers on faraway, uncharted corners of the map. It was meant to warn people away from dangerous areas where sea monsters were believed to exist. It's now used metaphorically to warn people away from unexplored areas or untried actions. Beware, this isn't a story about good people doing heroic things...no, this is a story about the bad guys. ***This is a fan-fiction based off CL Stone's Ghostbird series. The characters belong to her and I take no credit or financial gain from this story. I took creative license over the story line, but it's for entertainment purposes only!*** ***This is a dark horror story with some violent and gory imagery. If these types of things disturb you, I advise you not to read. It's not all about the blood, of course; humor and perhaps a little love is mixed in.***

Nine lords rule Caymead, Sang's home. After Sang receives a mysterious message telling her to come to the local tavern, events start to spiral out of control quickly. Sang plays a critical role in the fate of Caymead, but a tough decision will leave her questioning her duty. Caymead is a short story set in a fictional realm detailing Sang's adventure with the boys. This is a fan fiction based off of CL Stone's Academy series. I own no part of Sang or the boys and am making no profit off of this fan fiction.
