Lauren's life has never been easy. Growing up with an alcoholic mother and a drug addict as a step father she had to learn how to be tough, even though it got hard at times she eventually pulled through. It's now time for college and Lauren really isn't sure how things are going to work. Emotionally Lauren has completely cut herself off from knowing new people because she felt like it was better if she just stayed to herself. Meeting new people often did not go well for Lauren because no one understood her or her struggles. So she tended to stay away from meeting new people. But what happens when the new girl Normani Kordei makes it her mission to get Lauren to open up to her? Will Lauren open up to Normani or will her walls be too high to break?

Year 2020. The U.S. land is now halved between the human and vampire race. Humans inhabit the West while the vampires occupy the East. When the girls cross paths at an unlikely timing, it's gonna be one hell of a turnover for the both of them. Literally.

Lauren and Camila are forced to be in a room together. Camila is an innocent introvert; she's more concerned with the inner world of the mind. She enjoys photography, music, and simply getting lost in words. While her roommate, Lauren, is the exact opposite. Lauren is the epitome of an extrovert, she can not stand being alone with herself. She can not stay away from parties or anything that involves alcohol, drugs, or sex.
