But for Riven, a once honorable and respectable warrior of Noxus, life will never be the same. After seeing her own superiors flee as she and her division were attacked by Singed, a crazed chemists, she thrusts herself into self-imposed exile as she questions her own survival, existence, and her once beloved Noxus, in hopes of discovering a new path. As she stumbles along, a rumored battle of great proportions begins to capture her attention, so she heads towards this legendary league in hopes of finding her answers there.

She has an average group of friends, and spends her time either reading in the library, or watching movies with her roommate Donna. But one day, it all changes. She's not sure when it started, but on day she begins getting anonymous gifts at her doorstep. Whether it's a love letter, roses, or even money, somehow the person who leaves it always seems to get away without a trace. So then, it becomes Clara's makeshift mission: amidst having holiday fun with her loved ones and handling new (slightly annoying) acquaintance John Smith, she tries her best to find out who is giving her the gifts, and if they can be together- forever. (Just a lil' 12,000 word short story that I wrote sometime last year. Hope you like it.)
