We headed north for a day, or what i thought was north, to be honest, I couldn't tell. The pain from my leg was making my mind blur and each passing minute was pure agony. Nutmeg was beginning to tire and the pups, well I had to pick them up a while back, they kept on falling behind. I suppose I'm lucky in some ways, one of them been that it's spring and not winter but the wind is still cold, its always so cold... Hope I make this book as good as the last one. It was hard sometimes, been out here in the mountains. Winter was never easy, there were hardly any animals around to keep me company. I would get lucky if I saw a bunny or two maybe a deer or a few wolves but it was always so lonely, the only animals I ever saw and interacted with were my chickens and horse, the nearest town was at the bottom of the mountain and with there always been blizzards up here it would be suicide to attempt walking down the path to the Village. _________ It was a normal day up in the mountains, I had just finished gathering the eggs from the chickens, the pesky little things kept gathering at my feet looking for their food, I swear i should have fed them first. Next, it was time to clean out the stable, it was small and could only hold one horse and maybe a few barrels if I needed to stock up, but then again my horse was not a normal mare , she was Fjord horse...
