It's a bittersweet life for 14 year old Avery Ives. Her best friends and her big brother Cameron are always there for her. Both Avery and Cameron's parents are lawyers which means business trips and long meetings. Avery soon meets Pace, a young girl her age that makes her realize that you just have to let lose and have fun. When Avery's dance career starts blossoming so does her parents jobs. When they get relocated in Mexico will Cameron and Avery go with them and give up their lives in New York? Or will they stay and keep living their dreams?

There are two things Harper Lynch wasn't expecting when she made out with an attractive stranger at her aunt's wedding. One: He would show up on her doorstep two weeks later as the son of an old family friend. Two: That he would be staying in her house, right next door to her. Crestview High is an average high school in an average city with people who live average lives. Except for one thing, of course: Their senior tradition of riding a bus around the country for the whole summer after graduation. Not just a normal bus, an old school bus that the Belton family bought years ago and ever since their first son graduated, they've carried on the tradition. Now, the youngest and only girl of the family is graduating Crestview, which means that Alaina Belton is determined to live up to the Belton name and make this summer memorable for all twelve people on the bus this year. Of course, with twelve celebratory teenagers under one tiny roof for two months, there is bound to be love, drama, regrets, and a few memories to be made.
