WIP A short novel. Although our planet earth is not sentient, it is alive, conscious and aware of us, living on its surface. It is unexplainable and yet simple - it is a living being, not God, but still, powerful. With modern advancements in the last few centuries, the earth realises its ever-so-slightly-deteriorating state, and is taking action. It sends out abilities to random people hoping, that they will use the best of the newfound abilities to help save the planet. They are the Earth-bound. Some people have gone mad with power. With the most powerful Earth-bound leading a colonisation of the entire world, only a small group of rebel fighters could give hope to all of humanity.

Caleb wakes up in his bed all sweaty. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable, the springs in the mattress all loose and some wires were even sticking out. The discomfort prompted him to get off the bed. His eyes were watery and his hair was ruffled. The room was all dark and dusty. An acrid smell lingers in the room, pricking Caleb's nose. Thoughts hit his head. This is my room? Yah it is. My name is Caleb? Yah it is. What am I? A pathfinder. Why am I here? I'm a survivor of the apocalypse. Wheres the meeting point? The bus interchange under the shopping mall at Passiert Street. All of this came so naturally to him like as though it was injected into his memory.
