This is a poem about a girl confessing to a guy. The guy had already confessed and so the girl wrote this poem as a reply to his confession..

Elise didn't wake up in her room, as always. She was on the shore of a beach of some sort, with no palm trees or surfers on the beach. She must have went unconscious after losing strength for swimming and washed ashore here. Or maybe this wasn't a coincidence. Maybe this was her fate of all the craziness of her life and her mom drugged her or took her to some mental hospital. Little did she know, that this had nothing to do with her mom.

Too much pain in the world not enough lovely hearts to care...
