After trying to start up a conversation with Blake, Yang finds out there was no way she could reach out to her without mentioning a book of some sort. Finally getting her to break out of her shell, Yang develops feelings for Blake. When Yang thought everything was going well for her, she finds out Blake was already in a relationship. Torn by grief, Yang does the only thing she knows how to do: be a guardian for Blake, until feelings come to Yang.

Following the events of "White Rose Tea" and "Bright Lights and Bumblebee", Ruby, Weiss, Blake and Yang are finally united. But as the younger pair try to endure the prejudice that comes with their sexuality, and the general awkwardness of being in a relationship for the first time, and the elder trying to mend a slightly broken and battered relationship, and the deal with racial discrimination against the Faunus, things were never exactly going to go quite as smoothly as anyone wanted it to. (Dang it, I can't use italics, pretend "her" is in italics) When did she start to love her? She doesn't even remember. Always forgetting important events was practically her job. Even forgetting the promise that they had whispered under the crisp night air. She would always love hearing their footsteps as they walked together to class before Professor Port had begun the lesson. She loved how it felt as though she barely needed speech. At least not while around her. That everything she said was almost completely understood to her without speaking. She mostly relaid things through actions and silence. She never dared grab for her hand. She was crying inside to just, finally, reach out for her hand. "Her hand was probably as warm has her personality" is what she thought. "No, I can't fall for her. It would only hurt her in the end" she would always repeat to herself. She knew she was never meant to be with someone. Not after an abusive relationship. Always smiling at random jokes or puns she heard her cracked, even though she pretended to hate them. When was she going to tell her. When was the beast going to tell the beauty? You know what's funny? The beast knew if she told her the truth, the beauty would find nothing but hate for the beast. "Animal" was what she was use to hearing now. That's why the beast always pretended to be a human. As if it were she could be normal. She had learned from too much from Adam, even after she broke up with him. That's why she is never going to be worthy. Putting herself first and not her, or anyone for that matter. These feelings towards her should just stop, right? Shouldn't Blake realize that Yang was only flirting out of boredom? Or that Yang doesn't even like other girls? Especially a Faunus. "I can't trust them. I can't trust anyone." is all the beast repeated to herself.

Blake Belladonna is starting her first day at the university of her dreams, the university of beacon. She's nervous about making new friends, due to her shyness. She eventually meets a blonde who is the complete opposite of her, Yang Xiao Long. As their friendship grows she starts to develop feelings, but she worries if yang feels the same. More importantly, how long can her true feelings for yang.

This is the second book of an Aphmau and Garroth fanfic. If you read the first one you will mostly get the full story so yeah. What is going on in this story is that all of a sudden there is a giant bright light that shoots from the ground all around Phoenix Drop. When Garroth wakes up he sees that he is in a familiar place but, how did he get there and he meets a familiar person walking around in the kingdom. Will she remember Garroth?
