Then she is move from sunny Florida to cold Maine, and that's where the problems start. Reagan starts to be bullied and cutting herself. One day, drove by her bullies, Carly Scott and Jamie Thomas, to kill her herself until someone stops her. Alec Clark has been living in Maine his whole life with the same boring town, with the same boring school, and with the same boring kids. He lives a normal live until a girl named Reagan, that hides behind hoods and is always in the back, sparks his interest. Alec tries so hard to break down Reagan's walls, but she won't let him in. Alec spend his entire freshmen year to finally be called a friend by Reagan. At the end of the first week back to school for the new year, Alec runs into Reagan, almost jumping off a bridge.
