I hate it when the women are weak in the stories so I made my main character a hot head and I gave her that name in the story because it means: 'Free woman'...she doesn't take shit from anybody not even her own Father. -Read to find out more. Daisy wasn't your average girl. She was a trained killer. Give her a target and she could come up with multiple ways to end the target's life. After a failed escape attempt from the world she grew up in she has to get used to being back to the world of training, guns and death. Throw in a boy or two that both drive Daisy mental, a sarcastic attitude, lots of drama and a mission that may turn Daisy back into the assassin she used to be and you've got a pretty hectic story. ~"You don't know me." I snap. "Sure, I don't. We've only spent more than half of our lives together. But I don't know you. Like at all, I don't." He says sarcastically, making me stand up from my chair and stand in front of him with crossed arms. He keeps seated on my bed, looking just as angry as myself. I study his face for a really short second and internally groan. Puberty did really hit him good. ~ · Why would Hades think that after two years of not seeing Emma and not answering her calls, she would still be the same? How could he expect her to still be that weak little girl that depended on him? No, Emma has changed into somebody he has yet to discover. Two years ago, these two had their biggest fight. Best friends should get over it and move on, right? But what if there was no way they could talk it out, due to an unpleasant misunderstanding? Two years of not hearing shit from each other. Two years of being separated...and that after a bad argument. Both too stubborn to talk about it. But wouldn't it be so easy to finally sit down and talk? Even after what they did at Julie's first party of the new school year? I mean, they could still act like it didn't happen, since they have both been drunk. Yet they remember and decide it would be best to just avoid each other. Well, they seem to do a really bad job.

"Devote yourself to me il mio amore," he whispered with desperation evident in his voice. With my back pressed to the wall, and our breaths mixed together, the smallest movement and our lips would touch. I wanted, no needed him. He's the one I need. "What if I say no?" I asked. "Amore, you have no choice either way," he said with his signature smirk. "Okay," I whispered. {Book I of The Tides Series} [Not Edited]

"You're sick," she spat out at him, her face scrunching up, disgusted by his actions. How could someone be so cruel? He chuckled darkly, slowly striding towards her, his half empty glass of whiskey dangling loosely in his grip. He placed it softly behind her on the mantelpiece, his hands now placed either side of her head, trapping her. Her face was void of emotion, but her sharp intakes of breath revealed how she truly felt. His presence affected her, and their close proximity seemed to do something to his heart. He brought his hand up to her glossy black hair, tucking it behind her ear like he always liked it, "I'm not sick, I'm twisted. You make it sound like there's a cure." ~ Due to horrid circumstances, Alexia Clarke is left with no other choice but to join the American Italian mafia in hopes it will remove her from the grid forever, after killing the first man she had ever loved. Vincent Gambino, the ultimate leader of the five families within the mafia, was unhinged, deranged and all types of fucking crazy. With a newcomer in town, he had his eyes focused on the one and only Alexia, who was now the centre of his attention. If only she knew that that was the most dangerous place to be.

----- In serious need of revision! ----- Wanna-be journalist Kate Santoro would do anything for the scoop. Anything. Including finding her way into an underground club exclusive to only those in the Genovese mafia and the beautiful women they employee. What could be more perfect? She would stick to the shadows, snap a few videos, and write the biggest story New York has ever seen, therein making her a legend! Easy as pie. Until she gets found. A series of blatant lies and lucky breaks later and she is mistaken to be one of the workers underneath. While many might be terrified of this predicament Kate couldn't be more excited. The freedom to roam the area and talk to the members of the infamous brotherhood will leave no rock unturned. All she has to do is keep her cover until the night is over and the workers go home. What a fantastic position she is in! There are just two problems. One being him. Alessio. The Don, the Godfather, the Capo di tutti capi (the boss of bosses) who has taken a keen interest in Kate. Even that is something she could probably handle for one night. Except problem number two. They don't leave. Not at the end of the night, the end of the week, or even the end of the month. Alessio's interest in Kate threatens to expose her, something she would surely die from. He knows she doesn't belong but it's not as though she could have just waltzed in, right? By the time Kate realizes that not even the greatest scoop is worth the price, she is in far too deep to call it quits now. ~~~Praise for When The Sun Goes Down~~~ Natasha427: "It was so captivating that I may or may not have spent the last several hours holed up in my room frantically scrolling down to read more.
