I'm sorry if this story is bothering you. But if it is, it's clearly not meant for you. "What's depression like?" A friend once asked. I didn't know what to say. Because when people ask you things like "What's wrong" and "How are you?" and "Can I help you?" I never know what to say. I end up lying. I end up answering "nothing" and "Fine" and "No". Though what I really want to answer is "Everything" and "I'm not okay" and "Yes, please". What depression is like? Writing what it's like is easier than telling what it's like. Only a few will totally understand what it's like. And for those people I wrote this.

These are Wattpad members' experiences regarding "slut" shaming and sexual bullying. You can now submit your experience to be a chapter in this collection in the form of a VIDEO - or as a drawing, poster, collage, or any other type of visual art. Just message me a link (send it to @emilylindin). If you've already submitted a chapter and want to add a multimedia element, let me know and we can make that happen, too. I started The UnSlut Project in 2013 by sharing my own middle school diary entries, from when I was targeted as the school "slut", here on Wattpad. This collection expands the project to include the shared experiences of the Wattpad community, whether the writer has been the victim or witness of sexual bullying or "slut" shaming, or whether they just want to share their thoughts. As these essays demonstrate, these issues have affected and continue to affect many of our lives in deep, often dangerous ways. If you're currently being sexually bullied, you're not alone. It gets better. Please use these stories to expand your understanding of this widespread problem, and comment respectfully. To learn more about The UnSlut Project, including "UnSlut: A Documentary Film," go here: http://www.unslutproject.com IMPORTANT: some of these experiences are quite disturbing and might include triggering material. Bullying is a very serious issue that effects the lives of many. I hope that by many of us sharing our personal stories, it will not only help victims realize that they are not alone, but also help bullies realize how strongly their actions and words can effect others. If you've experienced bullying and would like to share your story in this book, here is the link to the submission form: http://goo.gl/forms/fJXipq1sD9 *Note*: If you or someone you know has feelings of depression, suicide, harassment, or self harm, please check out the resources available in your region: http://support.wattpad.com/hc/en-us/articles/200774284-Counseling-and-Prevention-Resources

I was the 6th-grade "slut." And I kept a diary. So I decided to create The UnSlut Project in the hopes that my own diary entries could provide some perspective to girls who currently feel trapped and ashamed. I am publishing these entries one at a time, without changing a single word except for the names of the people involved. My limited commentary, which is confined to brackets in each entry, is meant to provide the relief of my current perspective, fifteen years later. The UnSlut Project: Working to undo the dangerous slut shaming in our schools, communities, media, and culture by sharing knowledge and experiences.

I have been thinking a lot about sex. I concluded it's something like Disney meets BDSM meets education. Here I'm going to show you how sex in our culture is shaping who you are. I felt compelled to share this collection of my blog posts on Wattpad. Why? To raise awareness to what's going on. Keep reading. No matter if you're a boy or a girl, a child, teen or adult, there's something here for you: your sexuality is being impacted as we speak. Open your eyes and your heart. Take no bullshit. __________________________________ Note: Due to the nature of the subjects covered in this series, it contains graphic material. I watched as he searched through every single cabinet in the house.I myself was still tied up.I took in a deep breath. "Why are you doing this?"I asked making myself cry. "Because I love you my love. You must pay for being a naughty girl."He said taking out a pocket knife. He came closer to my bare skin.He then traced the blade on my upper arm. As he began to put pressure on the blade, pain began to pile up. "Do you love him?" Did he mean Chris? "Yes I do .Please let me goo." I began to plead. "Wrong answer Doll Face."With that he began to slice my arm. I screamed in agony. He just stood there with that stupid smirk of his . He was enjoying every moment of it.
