Border Patrol Agent Cal Tucker has lived off of instinct for as long as he could remember. But when he accurately predicts increasingly unlikely events by "following his gut", he can tell that something is about to change. He works all day catching illegal immigrants who work to ruin the lives of others, but he harbors a deeply buried secret: he may catch bad guys during the day, but at night he helps those who simply want a fresh start. Even those who are by the country's definition "illegal aliens". Now enemies on both sides of the law are hunting him, and they aren't giving up until they get what they want.
