Nobody knew how it worked, and honestly nobody cared. All they knew was it allowed people to solve murders, better diagnose disease, and stop guessing from being a factor when it came to death. People have tried to recreate the machine by themselves, and only the company that created it could make one work. There have been conspiracies, but no reasearch was done. Why ruin a good thing?
